Phreqs is an interesting album and was the last release under the moniker Echelon Anthracite that Aiden Harlow had ever done. It laid the groundwork along with Egomaniacal Industry for Golden Hour's creation and many songs and ideas were used on the full length.

I remember listening to the demos for the mini-album on my walk home and disassociating, the vivid colors and bitter-sweet tones enthrall you, for me it symbolizes the yellowing of the sky, not quite the beautiful pink or oranges, but when the sky slightly darkens after a long day, you're tired, waiting for your shift to be over but it's not quite there yet.
